Manchester United and Arsenal have an opportunity to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Christian Kofane, after Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle United missed out on signing him in the summer window. The striker’s development caught the attention of Arsenal, Aston Villa, Everton…

Manchester United and Arsenal have reportedly made approaches to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane. The 20-year-old Cameroon international previously turned down offers from Aston Villa, Everton, and Newcastle United during the summer transfer window. Arsenal have maintained long-term contact through manager Mikel Arteta's side, while Michael Carrick's Manchester United have recently entered the race by reaching out to the player's camp.
Leverkusen have sought to extend Kofane's contract until 2031 with a salary increase to €4m annually, but negotiations stalled over signing-on bonus terms. Despite the paused discussions, Kofane is expected to maintain ties with his current agency, Afrosport, leaving an opening for a potential permanent transfer to the Premier League.
