The Los Angeles Rams have developed one of the NFL's premier pass defenses under coordinator Chris Shula despite facing significant defensive injuries. Ramblin' Fan highlights that the Rams rank second in passing yards allowed at 145.5 yards per game and trail only the Minnesota Vikings in opposing completion rate, holding quarterbacks to 53.5 percent.
The strong performance comes despite limited playing time for key contributors, with depth players stepping up to fill the void. Cornerback Josh Wallace has held opposing passers to a 27.6 rating, while contributors Wesley Bailey and Shaun Dolac have provided key defensive snaps as the team awaits the return of injured starters.
