Middlesbrough forward David Strelec scored the opening goal for Slovakia in their 4-0 Nations League victory against Moldova in Chisinau. The 25-year-old helped his country maintain an unbeaten run and earn their third win in four matches.
The strike marked Strelec's 11th goal for Slovakia and his first international goal since a friendly win over Romania in March. The victory puts Slovakia at the top of League C, Group Three with 10 points, six ahead of Moldova and the Faroe Islands.
