Legendary Mixed Martial Arts coach Ray Longo believes Alex Pereira isn’t well qualified for a potential heavyweight rebound performance.

Renowned mixed martial arts coach Ray Longo believes Alex Pereira is too undersized to successfully rebound in the UFC heavyweight division. Speaking on the Anik & Florian podcast, Longo expressed doubt regarding Pereira's chances against elite heavyweights due to the significant size disparity and defensive style that leaves him vulnerable against heavier punchers.
Pereira is scheduled to face Sergei Pavlovich in a five-round co-headliner at UFC 335 in December. The bout marks Pereira's second heavyweight appearance following a TKO defeat to Ciryl Gane, which came after he vacated the UFC light heavyweight championship earlier in the year.
