Legendary Scottish manager Sir Alex Ferguson has named the most meaningful games of his life in a new book - and there are a few surprises.
Sir Alex Ferguson has released a new book titled "Games Of My Life," co-written with Sir Michael Moritz. The 84-year-old former manager selects 21 matches that carry deep personal meaning rather than focusing solely on his most famous triumphs. Notably, historic victories such as Aberdeen's 1983 Cup Winners' Cup final and Manchester United's Champions League wins in 1999 and 2008 are omitted.
Ferguson's selections include early memories like Rangers against Manchester United in 1953, Real Madrid's 1960 European Cup final triumph, and personal playing milestones. The book also covers formative managerial moments with East Stirlingshire, St Mirren, and Aberdeen, alongside 11 Manchester United games and Scotland's 2021 victory over Israel.
