The ageless kicker says 'I don’t think I could be happy with my career if I don’t get a ring with the B.C. Lions'

B.C. Lions kicker Sean Whyte expressed belief in his team's championship potential following a franchise-record performance where he went 8-of-8 on field goals. His 24 points accounted for all of the Lions' scoring in a 24-17 road victory over the Toronto Argonauts. The 40-year-old veteran stated that he is determined to capture a Grey Cup with his hometown team.
The victory was B.C.'s eighth in nine games, bringing them to a 9-6 record with a chance to clinch a playoff spot on Friday against the Ottawa Redblacks. In roster moves, the Lions released defensive backs Josh Hagerty and Lawrence Woods, while adding linebacker Wesley Steiner and wide receiver Ben Patterson.
