Kenneth Walker III has barely settled into a Kansas City Chiefs uniform, and the franchise is already posting about records that refuse to stay broken.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced that running back Kenneth Walker III set a new career-best with 177 rushing yards in a victory against the Las Vegas Raiders. Walker, who joined the Chiefs in free agency from the Seattle Seahawks, rushed for two touchdowns on 22 carries to surpass his previous milestone of 173 yards set in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
Walker now leads the NFL with 537 rushing yards through four games, averaging 6.2 yards per carry alongside four touchdowns. His contributions helped the Chiefs start the season 4-0 and earned him the AFC Offensive Player of the Month honor for September, drawing praise from teammate Brashard Smith for his vision and tackle-breaking ability.
