The Minnesota Vikings need running back help. Does a blockbuster trade for Eagles running back Saquon Barkley make sense?

Ted Schwerzler of MinnesotaSportsFan argues that the Minnesota Vikings should consider trading for Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. Despite an undefeated 4-0 start, Minnesota's offense faces depth concerns in the backfield with Jordan Mason on injured reserve and Aaron Jones taking on a heavy workload. Adding a dynamic talent like Barkley could provide much-needed support for head coach Kevin O'Connell's run-focused offensive scheme.
Schwerzler and analyst Tyler Forness suggest the 2-2 Eagles could look to acquire future draft assets if their season falters. While Barkley is currently managing a week-to-week hamstring injury, Schwerzler believes trading for the experienced back would signal an aggressive Super Bowl push for Minnesota.
