Tom Trbojevic has revealed his Kangaroos call up caught him by surprise as the Manly skipper prepares for his first appearance for Australia in nearly two years.
Manly skipper Tom Trbojevic admitted his selection in Australia's 23-man World Cup squad caught him by surprise. The 30-year-old is preparing for his first Test appearance for the Kangaroos in nearly two years under coach Kevin Walters.
Trbojevic was restricted to just 14 games this season due to recurring injuries, calling the campaign frustrating. Fox Sports reports he is expected to start on the wing against New Zealand next Thursday, with James Tedesco playing fullback.
