Lazio Join Bournemouth & Brighton in the Race for Colombian Defender

Lazio are reportedly monitoring Atletico Nacional centre-back Neider Parra alongside several other European sides. The 21-year-old Colombian defender has also drawn interest from Premier League clubs Bournemouth and Brighton, as well as Bologna, Genk, PSV Eindhoven, and OGC Nice. Parra is under contract with Atletico Nacional until the summer of 2028, with his market value estimated at around €800,000.

Despite the reported interest in a permanent transfer, writer Michel Sakr notes that Lazio are unlikely to sign another defender after revamping their backline during the summer. Manager Gennaro Gattuso already has Danilho Doekhi, Josip Sutalo, Diogo Leite, and Oliver Provstgaard competing for starting spots.
