However, Scotland surrendered a 1-0 lead to lose the match, leaving Pocognoli still seeking his first home victory.
Robertson admitted the Tartan Army had every right to be frustrated as Scotland struggled and second-half mistakes allowed Slovenia to dominate. Robertson dismissed fatigue as an excuse despite a congested schedule of four matches in 11 days, noting Slovenia faced the exact same schedule and thoroughly deserved their victory.
