Rylee Pay has completed her second season as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers, relying on a structured gameday routine developed through years of competitive dance. Pay was selected from more than 250 applicants after former broadcaster Mike Curto retired in 2024. Prior to joining Tacoma, Pay partnered with Emma Tiedemann with the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs, forming baseball's second all-female broadcast booth.
Throughout her time in Triple-A, Pay manages extensive gameday responsibilities, including player interviews, pregame shows, and recaps amid constant roster changes. During the 2026 season, Pay covered top Seattle Mariners prospects Lazaro Montes and Michael Arroyo before their promotions to the major leagues.
