7 goals in 9: Introducing prolific West Ham whizzkid following in Soucek’s footsteps

West Ham United teenager Bailey Pammenter has made an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign, tallying seven goals and three assists in nine matches across club and country. The 16-year-old forward, who signed from Cambridge United in late 2025, recently earned his first call-up to the Czech Republic Under-18 squad, scoring in consecutive matches against Slovakia and Greece.

Czech Republic Under-18 coach Tomas Kulvajt praised Pammenter's early impact after scouting eligible dual-national prospects abroad. Meanwhile, senior West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek continues his recovery from ankle ligament damage and is expected to return to club action against Queens Park Rangers on Friday.
