Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia remains uncertain for Saturday's La Liga match against Getafe as he recovers from a knee injury. The injury previously sidelined Garcia for Barcelona's victory over Sevilla and ruled him out of Spain's recent Nations League fixtures. Although Garcia returned to team training on Wednesday at the Ciutat Esportiva, the club will not rush his recovery.
Manager Hansi Flick has alternative options in goal with Dominik Livakovic and Wojciech Szczęsny available. Livakovic previously deputized for Garcia and recently featured in four Nations League matches for Croatia. Garcia still has several days to demonstrate his fitness to Flick before Barcelona resumes domestic competition.
