Atlanta Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr.’s partnership with Kalshi came under heavy scrutiny after the team’s NLDS exit following a 4-1 loss vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.

Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. faced heavy online criticism from fans over his partnership with betting company Kalshi following the Braves' NLDS elimination. Acuna became the first MLB player to partner with the firm, which aired a commercial featuring him during Atlanta's 4-1 Game 4 defeat against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Following the series loss, Acuna expressed frustration and took responsibility for his postseason struggles, finishing 2-for-15 without a home run or RBI. Kalshi has also signed deals with five MLB clubs and high-profile athletes such as Lionel Messi, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Bryson DeChambeau.
