Iliman Ndiaye has joined Manchester City on deadline day after Enzo Maresca's side stepped up their interest following their failure to sign Cody Gakpo from Liverpool

Former Everton defender Richard Dunne stated that Manchester City underpaid for forward Iliman Ndiaye after signing him in a £65million permanent deal on transfer deadline day. Dunne noted that while the transfer fee was likely lower than Everton hoped for, securing winger Jack Grealish on loan helped ease the loss for David Moyes' squad.
Dunne also expressed concern regarding Everton's depth in attack after departures left Thierno Barry as the only senior forward. He suggested that Everton must look to recruit a new striker during the upcoming January transfer window to sustain their positive league form.
