Olutayo Subuloye is rising through the Blues’ youth ranks, and was recently named Under-21s captain
Chelsea Under-21s captain Olutayo Subuloye is attracting loan interest from European and English clubs ahead of the January transfer window. The 18-year-old center-back has reached the fringes of Xabi Alonso's first-team squad, though Chelsea have yet to make a final decision on whether to sanction a temporary exit for the defender.
Subuloye is under contract at Chelsea until 2030 and is targeting his competitive senior debut in domestic cup competitions this season. The defender captained the Under-18s to league titles last season and featured during the senior squad's pre-season tour over the summer.
