Wales backrower Kane James has made an impressive start to the season

Exeter Chiefs boss Rob Baxter has praised Wales prospect Kane James for his strong start to the Premiership season and his development in a hybrid forward role. The 21-year-old, who earned his first Wales cap during the summer tour of Argentina, has transitioned from No. 8 to openside flanker at Exeter.
Baxter highlighted James's explosive speed and diligent training, predicting that the forward will continue to grow and develop. He explained that tactical demands in the scrum led to James's positional shift, noting that James continues to play like a No. 8 around the pitch regardless of jersey number.
