Netherlands manager Xavi has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven did not sustain a serious injury on international duty. Van de Ven was forced off late against Serbia following an accidental collision with Luka Jovic, leaving the Dutch team with ten men after all substitutions had been used.
Xavi stated after the match that Van de Ven is okay despite feeling dizzy and suffering a finger issue. Reports indicate both Van de Ven and teammate Jan Paul van Hecke could be fit for Tottenham's upcoming fixture against Manchester United.
