Jon Rahm will not be returning to LIV Golf next season after the Spaniard failed to agree with the proposed contract terms for the new-look league.

Jon Rahm will not return to LIV Golf next season after rejecting proposed contract terms for the league's restructuring. A lawyer for the Spanish golfer informed a New York bankruptcy court that the terms offered for LIV 2.0 were unacceptable. Both sides are currently holding advanced discussions regarding a consensual separation agreement ahead of a scheduled November 5 court hearing.
LIV Golf filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September after Saudi Arabia withdrew funding, though it secured potential financing from BC Partners Credit. Rahm reportedly tops the league's creditor list with an unsecured claim of $7.5 million out of $45 million owed to players.
