Brutal Leicester City call, Sammy Braybrooke decision and Russell Martin’s trusted duo

Leicester City manager Russell Martin faces several key selection dilemmas ahead of their upcoming League One fixture against Peterborough United. Josh Holland highlights Martin's choices across midfield, defense, and the matchday squad following a 1-1 league draw with Barnsley and mixed results in the Jersey Mike's Trophy. With Will Smallbone and Conor Chaplin facing fitness doubts, Sammy Braybrooke may retain his place in midfield alongside John Lundstram and Louis Page.

Following the departure of defender Wout Faes, Martin must also reconfigure his back line, with Harry Souttar and Warren O'Hora among the primary options. With up to 25 players competing for only 18 matchday squad spots under League One rules, Martin called the required omissions the hardest part of his managerial role.
