Inter midfielder Curtis Jones has been diagnosed with an adductor injury following medical tests on Thursday morning. The 25-year-old Englishman is expected to miss three to four weeks, leaving manager Cristian Chivu needing a replacement for Sunday's Serie A fixture against Parma.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Croatia international Petar Sucic is the emerging favorite to start in Jones's absence, partly because fellow midfielder Piotr Zielinski recently completed extensive minutes for Poland. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aleksandar Stankovic are also available options for Chivu.
