Brighton and Hove Albion defender Oliver Boscagli has revealed how he saved his career at the club, by constantly asking Fabian Hürzeler about his future. The centre-back has sat down for an interview with L’Equipe this week to discuss life…

Brighton and Hove Albion defender Olivier Boscagli revealed that regular discussions with manager Fabian Hürzeler helped revive his career at the club. After enduring an injury-disrupted debut campaign following his free transfer from PSV Eindhoven in July 2025, Boscagli has earned a starting role at left-back, aiding Brighton's surge near the top of the Premier League table.
Boscagli also credited veteran teammate James Milner with shifting his mindset when he grew frustrated out of the lineup. Milner advised him to prove his quality in training rather than complain, which inspired Boscagli to improve his physical preparation ahead of the current season.
