The team brought running back Tre Tyus back to the practice squad after he was waived from the active roster on Tuesday.

The Carolina Panthers re-signed running back Anthony Tyus III to their practice squad on Thursday. Tyus had been waived from the active roster on Tuesday to open a spot and cleared waivers on Wednesday, clearing the way for his return.
Tyus led Carolina in rushing during the preseason and contributed on special teams over the past two weeks. Head coach Dave Canales noted the team is preparing for the returns of Trevor Etienne, Taylor Moton, and Tershawn Wharton following their bye week.
