Newcastle United are set to welcome back a number of players for their clash with Coventry City

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle has provided fitness updates on 10 players ahead of the upcoming fixture against Coventry. Joelinton, Nico Gonzalez, and Dan Burn are anticipated to feature, with Lewis Miley also expected to be available following an international duty knock. However, goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen has been ruled out for approximately two months after suffering a hamstring injury.
Jaissle noted that Joelinton is progressing well after partial training involvement, while the club carefully manages player workloads following the international break. Newcastle, currently sitting on eight points, remain cautious regarding the recovery timelines of Amar Dedic, Tino Livramento, William Osula, Anthony Elanga, and Jacob Ramsey.
