Red Bull certainly appears to have taken giant strides over the last couple of races.

McLaren driver Oscar Piastri stated that Red Bull has elevated its performance to match Mercedes following strong showings in recent races. Piastri noted that upgrades introduced by Red Bull in Azerbaijan have transformed the team's competitiveness, as evidenced by Max Verstappen finishing second in Baku before claiming victory ahead of Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli in Malaysia.
Looking ahead to the Singapore Grand Prix, Piastri tempered expectations for McLaren, noting the team's ongoing struggles in slow corners and on street circuits. McLaren managed only 10 points across the previous two rounds, but Piastri noted the sprint format could provide opportunities.
