Bolton football fan, Lola, from Salford, is raising money for the hospitals which have treated her.

Eight-year-old Lola from Salford is wearing a different football shirt for each of her 30 radiotherapy sessions at The Christie hospital. After her brain tumor returned in August, she decided to take on the challenge across six weeks of treatment, receiving donated shirts wrapped up each morning to open before attending her sessions.
She plans to auction the shirts, provided by various clubs and players, to raise funds for The Christie Charity and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Her father, James, an employee at Bolton Wanderers FC, praised the wider football community for supporting the initiative.
