The PCB confirmed the 12th edition of the Pakistan Super League after a majority of franchises voted for the March-May window over email.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that the 12th edition of the Pakistan Super League will run from March 18 to May 2, 2027. The decision was formalized after a majority of the eight franchises voted for the March-May window via email, resulting in an overlap with the Indian Premier League for the third consecutive year.

Broadcaster Walee Technologies raised commercial concerns regarding advertiser budgets post-Ramadan, but winter weather across key venues in Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi made the earlier window unviable.
