After less than a minute, JJ Redick saw enough from the Lakers.

Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick criticized his team and made the unusual decision to call a timeout just 52 seconds into Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center. Redick expressed frustration after his squad failed to execute scripted plays on their opening possessions, leading to an immediate deficit in an eventual 124-98 preseason loss.
Despite playing without key players including Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, Redick labeled the first half unacceptable after Golden State led 81-53 at halftime. Redick stated he addressed the team directly at the break to hold them accountable.
