Fifteen-Year Vet Has Logged 10 Tackles and 1 Sack in 2 Straight Games

New York Jets linebacker Demario Davis has established himself as a central defensive leader, recording 10 tackles and one sack in two consecutive games against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. The 37-year-old veteran is only the second player in franchise history to achieve those figures in back-to-back contests, bringing his season total to 32 tackles through four games.
Davis leads all active NFL players with 970 career solo tackles across his 15-year career. Looking ahead to Sunday's matchup at MetLife Stadium against the Cleveland Browns, Davis praised quarterback Deshaun Watson and noted the defensive challenge posed by Cleveland's offense.
