Paul Merson makes surprise claim on Leeds United vs Arsenal – ‘it’s a bit of a leveller’

Pundit Paul Merson believes Leeds United hold an advantage over Arsenal due to the timing of their upcoming match at Elland Road. Speaking on Sky Sports News, Merson stated that a Saturday 12:30 pm kickoff immediately following an international break acts as a leveller, as Mikel Arteta's squad will have had minimal preparation time after returning from national team duties.

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic agreed that Arsenal could appear disjointed, but noted the fixture remains an important test for the Gunners following their recent 3-0 defeat against Brighton. Begovic emphasized that Daniel Farke's side will be eager, but Arsenal will look to avoid complacency as they aim to bounce back.
