Austin Reaves will make his preseason debut for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday after sitting out the team's first two exhibition contests. Head coach JJ Redick confirmed pregame that Reaves would return to the court, marking his first appearance since signing a new deal to remain with the Lakers during the summer.
Several other Lakers remain sidelined, including Walker Kessler with a jammed finger, Collin Sexton, Arthur Kaluma, Ziaire Williams, Cameron Carr, and Dalton Knecht. Coach Redick stated these issues are not long-term concerns, while Luka Dončić is available to share the court with Reaves on Thursday.
