The centre is out at least two weeks after tweaking his hamstring, head coach Tiago Splitter told reporters on Monday.

Chicago Bulls center Nic Claxton will be sidelined for at least two weeks after tweaking his hamstring, head coach Tiago Splitter announced on Monday. The injury leaves his status in question ahead of the regular season, though the two-week timeline could still allow Claxton to return in time for the Bulls' season opener on Oct. 21 against the Toronto Raptors.
Claxton joined the Bulls in June following a three-team trade involving the Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets. The 27-year-old center averaged 11.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 69 games last season.
