Kayvon Thibodeaux’s brutal start has the New York Giants looking foolish for turning down the Saints’ trade offer this offseason.

GMEN HQ argues that the New York Giants made a major mistake by rejecting a trade offer from the New Orleans Saints for pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. The Saints reportedly offered the 132nd overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft in April, but Giants general manager Joe Schoen held out for a second-round selection.
Writer Matt Sidney highlights that Thibodeaux has recorded zero sacks and a 0% pass-rush win rate through four games in 2026. With Thibodeaux nearing free agency and Brian Burns out with an ACL tear, the writer believes New York overplayed its hand.
