Rahm will play no part in this week's Spanish Open as he and wife Kelley welcome their fourth child

Jon Rahm has officially withdrawn from this week's Open de Espana at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid due to the impending birth of his fourth child. The DP World Tour confirmed the news to Golf Monthly, noting that Rahm and his wife, Kelley, are expecting a daughter. The three-time champion had been the headline name on home soil for what was scheduled to be his fourth DP World Tour start of the year.
Rahm's obligation of DP World Tour events was reduced from six to five under a conditional release deal. Having played in three events so far, he is understood to be targeting the Abu Dhabi Championship and the DP World Tour Championship in November to fulfill his commitments.
