‘Best thing about Stoke City’ – Steven Schumacher’s Potters verdict as he takes on old club with Bolton

Former Stoke City manager Steven Schumacher has named the club's supporters as the best thing about the team ahead of facing his old side with Bolton Wanderers. Schumacher spent nine months managing Stoke after joining from Plymouth in December 2023, and he reflected on his tenure with no regrets ahead of their upcoming Championship clash at the Toughsheet Stadium.

Now in charge of Bolton following their promotion from League One, Schumacher praised Stoke's travelling fans, who sold out an away allocation of over 4,600 tickets. He also highlighted Stoke's strong start to the season under manager Mark Robins, stating the seventh-placed club has a good chance of achieving a higher league finish this year.
