Brighton & Hove Albion loanee Facundo Buonanotte is enjoying life at Elche, stating in an interview with DSports that Spanish culture and passionate supporters feel closer to his native Argentina than his time in England. The 21-year-old midfielder joined the Spanish club on a season-long loan following previous loan spells at Leicester City, Chelsea, and Leeds United.
Despite Elche sitting 18th in La Liga with only five points from seven matches, Buonanotte has recorded one goal and one assist. The midfielder also highlighted his ambition to earn a recall to Lionel Scaloni's Argentina national team through consistent performances in Spain.
