Burnley boss Nicky Hayen says the extended three-week international break has given his squad positivity as they return to Championship action hoping to turn their form around.

Burnley manager Nicky Hayen stated that the extended three-week international break has brought a positive mindset to his squad ahead of their return to Championship action. Winless so far this season, Burnley sit at the bottom of the table and are looking to turn their fortunes around against Watford on Saturday.
The Clarets are currently on a 23-game winless run dating back to February against Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Hayen noted that positive international performances and a mid-break friendly against Oldham Athletic have changed the squad's energy ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
