Thomas Tuchel has backed Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha to step up and become decisive for England

England head coach Thomas Tuchel has backed Liverpool teenager Rio Ngumoha to step up and become a decisive player for the national team. Addressing suggestions that England's top attackers play abroad, Tuchel pointed to the 18-year-old winger as an emerging talent capable of making a major impact alongside players like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.
Ngumoha made his senior competitive debut in England's recent 2-0 win over Czechia and could earn his third cap on Tuesday. At club level, he has made five appearances this season under new Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola ahead of an upcoming clash with Manchester City.
