Tampa Bay Rays closer Bryan Baker has achieved a historic postseason run by saving all three games during their ALDS sweep of the New York Yankees. Baker became just the fourth pitcher in MLB history to record a save in his team's first three playoff games since saves became official in 1969, joining Dennis Eckersley, Mark Wohlers, and Manny Corpas.
Baker is the only pitcher to accomplish this feat without surrendering a single hit. The 31-year-old All-Star, who led the majors with 41 saves and posted a 1.44 ERA in the regular season, will look to continue his streak in the ALCS.
