The France cap has been a free agent since leaving PAOK last year

Celtic is reportedly considering free agent midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko as the player seeks a move back into professional football. According to Sky Sports, the 32-year-old former Chelsea and AC Milan player has been training with the Scottish champions over the past few weeks during the international break. Bakayoko has been without a club since departing Greek side PAOK in January 2025.
Celtic previously explored adding the French midfielder in January before signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain instead. Despite an 18-month deal being discussed at the time, a transfer did not materialize. Bakayoko, who previously won Ligue 1 with Monaco and the FA Cup with Chelsea, recently confirmed he is fully prepared and eager for his next career challenge.
