A proud every-down defensive lineman, Kobie Turner has been especially effective against the run in 2026

Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Kobie Turner has emerged as one of the NFL's top run defenders in 2026. According to Next Gen Stats, Turner recorded a tackle on 25.4% of his run defense snaps through the early season, ranking sixth among qualifying league defenders. Turner expressed pride in his every-down impact, emphasizing that his contributions extend far beyond traditional pass rushing.

Turner also logged 16 tackles without a missed tackle in run defense, leading all interior defensive linemen. Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula and teammate Byron Young praised Turner's consistency and unselfishness in occupying blockers. Turner's interior disruption will be crucial as the Rams prepare to face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
