The Minnesota Timberwolves travel to face the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center on Saturday, October 10, in their third preseason matchup. Both teams feature revamped rosters ahead of their upcoming regular-season opener against each other, with Miami having added Giannis Antetokounmpo and Minnesota adjusting after parting ways with Julius Randle and Naz Reid. Starters are expected to play primarily in the first half as both sides evaluate matchups.
A key focus for Minnesota is 19-year-old Joan Beringer, who is tasked with defending Miami's formidable frontcourt of Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo. Additionally, the Wolves will look to continue building chemistry in their backcourt pairing of Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball, whose outside perimeter shooting is projected to play a pivotal role against Miami's rim protection.
