After he exited last night's game against the Montreal Canadiens with an upper-body injury, the Nashville Predators have placed defenseman William Trudeau on the injured reserve.

The Nashville Predators have placed defenseman William Trudeau on injured reserve following an upper-body injury sustained against the Montreal Canadiens. Trudeau exited the contest after playing just 4:39 of ice time, and the team confirmed he is considered week-to-week.
Trudeau, a 23-year-old native of Quebec, was claimed off waivers from the New York Rangers during the preseason after previously spending four years in Montreal's system with the AHL's Laval Rocket. Forward Mavrik Bourque also suffered an upper-body injury during the game but was not placed on injured reserve.
