The first Juventus player to get a contract extension during the 2026-27 season is not somebody we thought would be in this position so soon after looking like he was on the way out just a couple of months ago.…

Juventus has officially announced a contract extension for Argentine forward Nico González, keeping him at the club through June 30, 2030. The 28-year-old winger agreed to add one year to his previous deal, which was originally set to expire in 2029. The announcement came on Friday following initial Italian media reports of a verbal agreement.
González has enjoyed a resurgence under manager Luciano Spalletti after facing transfer speculation over the summer. The winger has scored two goals across five appearances in Serie A and the Europa League this season, taking his total to seven goals in 45 matches since joining the Turin club in 2024.
