Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out of Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons due to an ankle injury. Head coach Jesse Minter confirmed the news following reports from NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Jackson suffered the injury during the late stages of the first half in Baltimore's 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley will start in Jackson's place against Atlanta after completing eight of nine passes in relief last week. Through four games this season, Jackson had thrown for 967 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception. The Ravens hold a 6-11 record in games Jackson has missed since becoming the full-time starter in 2019.
