Tyler Dibling scored an early goal as England Under-21s featured three Everton players simultaneously during a 3-1 defeat to the Republic of Ireland in Cork. Dibling opened the scoring in the seventh minute, and fellow Everton teammates Harrison Armstrong and Tyrique George were introduced as substitutes in the 61st minute to play alongside him for 21 minutes.
Despite the loss, Lee Carsley's England side topped their qualifying group with 23 points and booked their place at next summer's European Under-21 Championship. The match capped a notable international night for Everton, who also saw senior trio Jordan Pickford, James Garner, and Jarrad Branthwaite feature together for England's senior team.
