Alex McCarthy reveals what the Leicester City dressing room thinks about Russell Martin

Leicester City goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has defended manager Russell Martin amid growing external criticism regarding the team's slow start and tactical style. Speaking on Ben Foster's 'Fozcast' podcast, McCarthy praised Martin as one of the best managers he has worked with, emphasizing that the squad enjoys his training sessions and maintains a positive dressing room atmosphere despite harsh online abuse directed at the manager.

Leicester currently sit 14th in League One following a defeat to Stevenage in the Jersey Mike's Trophy. McCarthy, who joined the Foxes on a free transfer from Southampton and became the starting goalkeeper following Jakub Stolarczyk's knee injury, expressed confidence that Leicester will quickly climb the table once they establish momentum.
