Rangers midfielder Dan Neil is earning widespread praise after overcoming a difficult start at Ibrox following his summer move from Sunderland. Pundit Gordon Dalziel admitted on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard that he initially felt underwhelmed by Neil, but now believes the 24-year-old is finally living up to his high reputation.
Neil joined Rangers on a three-year contract on July 1 on a free transfer after his Sunderland contract expired. He has since become a key starter under manager Derek McInnes, highlighted by scoring twice and providing an assist in a 3-0 Premier Sports Cup win over Celtic.
