Leonard Williams' status looked uncertain after a Thursday practice setback. Mike Macdonald has now delivered the update Seahawks fans wanted.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald announced that defensive tackle Leonard Williams is cleared to play against the San Francisco 49ers on October 11. Macdonald stated on Friday, October 9, that Williams is "good to go" after dealing with an ankle injury suffered against the Los Angeles Chargers. Williams had missed practice on Thursday, which had raised doubts about his availability.
The 32-year-old defensive tackle has recorded three sacks through the first four games of the season. His return bolsters the 3-1 Seahawks as they prepare to face the undefeated 4-0 49ers and quarterback Brock Purdy in an important NFC West division matchup at Lumen Field.
